Meetup with the Wine & Gourmet Experts...!
Born in a small village close to Lyon, France, Sebastien Chassignol learned
Patisserie at a very young age..  pastry-making became a real passion for him!
At age 19, Seb decided to fly to sunny South-California and landed in Los
Angeles..  a city he naturally adopted after gaining quick recognition for his
'savoir-faire'.  In 2004, he was elected
Best Patry Chef of L.A by the Culinary
Club of French Cuisine
.  Seb now works for different businesses including
high-end catering and a wholesale gourmet company.  Come taste all his cakes
and try to get his recipe tips!..
Born in the French Alps in Annecy, Laurent Bonjour of The Cheese Corner will
share with you his epicurian love for cheeses.  Whether made with goat, cow or
sheep milk, he will tell you about all its legends and little secrets..  Explore artisan
cheeses from the world, its tastes and flavors...  Every cheese will be paired with a
different wine!  Laurent is a great guy and he always brings new (sometimes
undiscovered) cheeses to my attention.. and my taste buds!..  you will really learn a
lot about his cheeses!  He's passionate about his products..  and you will become
too!  His cheeses will be on sale the evening of the event.
Jennifer Knighton grew up moving every few years and through that gained a
love of history, travel and food.  These loves made her a perfect match for
Oliviers & Co.  Her passion was matched with their independent producers and
love of quality.  Jennifer will show you the surprising complexity of aromas of
Olive Oils from sometimes undiscovered parts of the world.  You will also get to
know a delicious and healthy way to enhance the flavors of your meals.  All these
gourmet delicacies will be available at the store (at the Grove) for purchase.
The world of wine is such a fascinating and immensely interesting subject for
David Barasch.  "There is always something to learn, a new place to explore, or a
different culture to absorb."  He's been working for Classic Wines for over a year
now.  His passion lies in this industry as he was a wine buyer for Trader Joes and
opened a wine bar in Orange County.  During this evening, he will educate and
taste you on..
